(ST. LOUIS, MO., 4/15/2013): This evening, the St. Louis chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-St. Louis) will take part in an interfaith prayer service for the victims of the Boston marathon bombings scheduled at Dar Al Islam Masjid in Ballwin, Mo.
"By holding this prayer service with peoples of other faiths, we hope to show a united sense of compassion when any life is lost," said Mufti Asif Umar, Imam of Dar Al Islam Masjid.
WHAT: Interfaith Community to Hold Prayers for Victims of Boston marathon Tragedy

WHERE: Dar Al Islam Masjid, 517 Wiedman Road, Ballwin MO, 63011
The prayer service will include brief speeches, prayers in various languages and religious traditions and reflections.
"All faiths traditions clearly condemn these types of attacks and the resulting injuries and loss of life," said CAIR-St. Louis Executive Director Faizan Syed. "We hope that by holding this prayer service, we will give people the opportunity to grieve as our nation goes through this together."
