“This short-sighted, unjustified and unilateral decision to overturning a long-standing policy of the United States will create irreparable harm to the peace process, undermine Muslim allies and our nation’s strategic foreign policy interests,” said Faizan Syed Executive Director of CAIR-Missouri. “This policy change is designed to destabilize the region and distract Americans from ongoing investigations into the Trump administration by the FBI and the tax bill.”
