“We want our office to be located in the heart of the Muslim community” said Faizan Syed Executive Director of CAIR-STL. “By opening an office inside a Islamic Center we are precisely where the community prays and is comfortable being. We hope that this will allow us to build stronger grass roots relationships and better empower American Muslims”.

internThe St. Louis Chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-STL) welcomes nine summer interns. Every semester CAIR-STL hires unpaid interns to work within its office to help organize events, defend civil liberties, build bridges between the Muslim community and Government, give public educational programs and much more.
