On Monday June 8th, the St. Louis Chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-STL) opened its first satellite office inside of the Dar-Al-Jalal Islamic Center, 8945 Dunn Rd, Hazelwood MO, 63042 in the north county of Saint Louis.
“We want our office to be located in the heart of the Muslim community” said Faizan Syed Executive Director of CAIR-STL. “By opening an office inside a Islamic Center we are precisely where the community prays and is comfortable being. We hope that this will allow us to build stronger grass roots relationships and better empower American Muslims”.
The office includes a conference room, the executive office, lobby, and a recording studio. There are plans to add another office for a future full time civil rights attorney and a secretary.
Hours of operations are M-F from 8 AM – 4 PM.
Visitors should park in the back of the Islamic Center and use the back two doors to enter into the CAIR-STL office.
